Darren Robson - Handrailer and Stairbuilder

Having over 24 years' experience in handrailing and stairbuilding, and serving a 4 year apprenticeship with one of the last great handrailers, F.J. Lewis, I have built up a passion for the craft of handrailing and stairbuilding and use the same enthusiasm in all aspects of joinery.

As a handrailing company we undertake the specialist task of handcrafting components using the rational method, by hand using traditional geometry process producing handrails from solid block rather than the inferior laminate strips that some companies choose to use. Also we undertake special moulding and turnings, square and octagonal spindles and newels for porches and canopies, plus any circular joinery.

We are based in Northcott, Devon, and are able to offer our services in handrailing and stairbuilding all over the country. We are available for residential, private domestic or contract work.

We subcontract to joinery companies working for builders or designers.
